I had the opportunity to be a member of Calvary Bible Church in Burbank, CA from 2001 to 2004, when I moved to Placerita Baptist Church. Though I no longer go to Calvary (due to living in Santa Clarita), Calvary's website is a very helpful tool for Bible resources, as well as a sermon vault containing nearly all of Jack Hughes' sermons from the time he arrived at Calvary in 2000. Jack is a graduate of The Master's Seminary and has his doctorate from Westminster Seminary.
The Calvary website can be accessed athttp://www.calvarybiblechurch.org/.
Here are some of the useful and insightful resources you can find on this website:
Classes: (This link leads to class handouts as well as audio. Some of these classes include; Basic Bible Doctrine, Doctrine of Christ, Daniel, Old Testament Expert, Prophecy, Key Social Issues, How to Study the Bible, and Preparing Bible Studies and Sermons.)
Sermons: (If you have iTunes, simply subscribe to the podcast. Jack's messages are biblically sound and will challenge you.)
Newsletter: (This link leads to in-depth articles on a variety of topics including; giving, church government, and Calvinism.)
I highly recommend Calvary's website as a tool to grow your knowledge of the Bible and how to use it practically.
